Mercy is a Ugandan entry level software developer who enjoys connecting the dots: be it ideas from different disciplines, people from different teams, or applications from different industries. Something that she loves about programming is the opportunity to work with people from a wide range of disciplines. Her studies have provided her with broad proficiency in the use of programming tools, software packages and techniques. Alongside this, she has developed sound communication skills while delivering presentations to large audiences while at school. As such, she is confident that she can make an instant impact. Her values are authenticity, integrity, lifelong learning and peace of mind.

Chatty Messanger

Created a social media application using Kotlin Android studio. I implemented Retrofit and recycler views in order to fetch and get timely information to the user using APIs, MVVM and firebase

Python Challenges

Solved Python challenges that mostly involved object-oriented programming. Used git branches on every topic and this greatly improved my git collaboration skills

Lima Smart

I worked on this project with a group of four friends . We created a smart drip irrigation farming system that uses IoT, thingspeak and mqtt as the messaging protocal . Farmers get timely notices on whatever happens in the farm. It is embedded with sensors .

Glam Gram

Glam gram is a fashion website coded with HTML,CSS and JavaScript. It categorises womens clothes into three main seasons and also gives them the chance to see how the clothes would look on them using animations .

School System

This is an Django online school management system that uses APIs to fetch timely information .The main functionalities are ,registering a trainer, a student , adding course details and creating a school event.

Solio Farm

I sketched the Logo of this farm and designed it with Adobe Illsustrator . Since Solio Farm has many products ,I designed a plants e-commerce mobile application using Figma showing the user journey
